Plan Options Sum Insured Death/Disability1 Accidental Death
Business Loan Decreasing Term Assurance 2.0 (BLDTA 2.0) As the outstanding loan reduces each year, so does the sum insured Lump sum payment according to the Schedule of Sum Insured If accidental death occurs within ninety (90) days from the date of Accident, an additional ten (10) percent of the amount of insurance in accordance with the Schedule of Sum Insured or RM 150,000, whichever is lower, will be payable.
Business Loan Overdraft Level Term Assurance (BLOLTA) Sum insured is unchanged, regardless of the outstanding loan Lump sum payment according to the Schedule of Sum Insured Not applicable

What BLDTA 2.0 / BLOLTA Doesn’t Cover?

Examples of the events not covered by the BLDTA 2.0 / BLOLTA include:

  1. For Death: Suicide committed within six (6) months from the effective date of insurance, whether sane or insane.
  2. For Disability1:Attempted suicide while sane or insane and whether felonious or not, self- inflicted bodily injury, disorderly conduct or deliberate exposure to unnecessary danger; or injuries sustained while engaging in hunting, mountaineering, aviation2 (except as a fare-paying passenger on a commercial airline), naval, military or aeronautical service, or racing (other than foot-racing) of any kind; or existing conditions at the effective date of insurance under the Master Policy.
  3. And other standard exclusions.

Note:
1 Also known as Total and Permanent Disability for BLDTA 2.0 and Permanent Total Disability for BLOLTA.
2 For BLDTA 2.0, the exclusion for injuries sustained while engaging in aviation shall not apply to crew member on a commercial airline as well.
