PB WealthElite 3 is a regular premium Investment-Linked Insurance Plan which provides insurance coverage against death and Total and Permanent Disability (TPD). This plan gives you the flexibility to choose from the various coverage and premium payment term that suit your needs. In addition, you can also enjoy enhanced protection by opting for the various optional benefits at an additional cost.

What Does PB WealthElite 3 Offer?

Protect your loved ones’ future

  • Pays 100% of sum assured upon death1
  • Pays 200% of sum assured upon accidental death1
  • Pays 300% of sum assured if accidental death happens while in public transport1
  • Pays 600% of sum assured if accidental death due to natural disaster1

That’s not all, if your plan’s account value is higher than the above, the account value shall be payable instead, allowing your loved ones to receive more than what you have planned for them.

Protection continues even after TPD claim
This plan pays you 100% of the sum assured if you suffer TPD prior to age 70. The best part is, your plan will continue with the full sum assured, even after a TPD claim is made!

 

Support you to seek the best treatment for critical illness
This plan comes with Overseas Critical Illness Treatment Benefit2 that allows you to reimburse your medical bills up to 50% of your sum assured or RM2,000,000, whichever is lower, for overseas treatment for any one of the covered critical illnesses.

Celebrate your plan’s maturity with reward 
Reap the rewards of your plan with 100% of your account value at maturity.
You will receive an additional 20% of your account value as a Longevity Bonus3&4.


Maximise your investment value at any time 
You can top-up your investment when opportunities arise, or switch to another AIA Investment Fund if your investment goals change.

Provide medical support from diagnosis to recovery
Personal Medical Case Management (PMCM) Service is a value added service provided to ensure that you receive the best possible treatment and personalised ongoing support throughout your medical journey when you are facing serious medical conditions.

Tailor your protection to your needs 
You may choose to be covered for up to age 70, age 80 or age 100. You also have the option to choose your premium payment term either for 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, or throughout the coverage term.

Get more account value through Wealth Boost 
When you sign up as an AIA Vitality member, you may receive additional account value under the Wealth Boost feature when your plan matures4 or ends due to death or TPD claim.
 


 Notes:

1Accidental death coverage is up to age 70. Only one of the death benefits above is payable. If your plan’s account value is higher than the benefits above, we will pay you the account value instead

2Any claim under this benefit shall reduce the account value and may also reduce the sum assured. Only the cost of the first critical illness claimed is covered.

3Excluding account value from regular top-up premiums and ad hoc top-up premiums (if any) and is capped at 20% of the sum assured of your PB WealthElite 3 plan.

4For coverage term up to age 100, the Longevity Bonus and Wealth Boost will be paid out when you reach age 80 or when your plan reaches Policy Year 20, whichever is later.

PB LifeExtra 2
Pays an additional 100% or 200% of the PB WealthElite 3’s sum assured if insured passes away, with a coverage term of 10 or 20 years.
(Available for insured aged between 18 years old and 50 years old)
 

PB CriticalReset
Protect insured against critical illnesses* for up to 2 times with Critical Reset feature. This Critical Reset feature restores the coverage back to 100% after 3 years from the date of diagnosis of a critical illness in which the rider coverage amount is fully claimed. The restored coverage amount will only be payable upon Stroke, Cancer or Heart Attack.

(Available for insured aged between 14 days old and 60 years old)

*Benefits are payable if the insured survives at least 15 days from the date of diagnosis of any of the covered critical illnesses or a covered surgery.

Ensure continuous premium payment if insured suffers TPD prior to age 70 or is diagnosed with any one of the covered critical illnesses.

(Available for insured aged between 14 days old and 60 years old)

PB Spouse WaiverExtra
Ensure continuous premium payment if insured’s spouse passes away, suffers TPD prior to age 70 or is diagnosed with any one of the covered critical illnesses.

(Available for the insured spouse aged between 18 years old and 60 years old)

PB Parent WaiverExtra
Ensure continuous premium payment if insured’s parent passes away, suffers TPD prior to age 70 or is diagnosed with any one of the covered critical illnesses.
(Available for the insured’s parent aged between 18 years old and 60 years old who purchases this plan for their children aged between 14 days old and 17 years old)

Who is eligible to buy PB WealthElite 3?

This plan is available for individuals aged between 14 days old and 70 years old.
The entry age varies based on the coverage term and premium payment term as shown in the table below.

What doesn’t PB WealthElite 3 cover?

  1. Any death arising from the occurrence of the following is not covered:
    • Death due to suicide within 1 year from the Issue Date or Commencement Date, whichever is later.
  2. Any TPD arising from the occurrence of the following is not covered:
    • Self-inflicted act while sane or insane;
    • Assault or murder or due to war (declared or undeclared), revolution, riot and civil commotion, industrial action or terrorist activity;
    • Violation or attempted violation of the law or resistance to arrest including participating in any fight, racing on wheels or accident due to intoxication;
    • Entering, exiting, operating, servicing, or being transported by any aerial device or conveyance except when the Insured is a fare-paying passenger or crew member on a commercial passenger airline on a regular scheduled passenger trip over its established passenger route; or
    • Pre-existing disability resulting from a physical or mental condition and pre-existing conditions prior to issue date or commencement date whichever is later.
  3. Any accidental death arising from the occurrence of the following is not covered under Accidental Death Benefit, Accidental Death in Public Conveyance Benefit and Accidental Death due to Natural Disaster Benefit:
    • Self-inflicted act while sane or insane;
    • Assault or murder or due to war (declared or undeclared), revolution, riot and civil commotion, industrial action or terrorist activity;
    • Violation or attempted violation of the law or resistance to arrest including participating in any fight, racing on wheels or accident due to intoxication; or
    • Entering, exiting, operating, servicing, or being transported by any aerial device or conveyance except when the Insured is a fare-paying passenger or crew member on a commercial passenger airline on a regular scheduled passenger trip over its established passenger route.
  4. Any critical illness arising from the occurrence of the following is not covered:
    • Pre-existing Conditions prior to the Issue Date or Commencement Date, whichever is later;
    • Cancer, Heart Attack, Coronary Artery By-Pass Surgery, Serious Coronary Artery Disease and Angioplasty and Other Invasive Treatments for Coronary Artery Disease, for which the signs or symptoms first occurred within 60 days following the Issue Date or Commencement Date, whichever is later;
    • All other critical illnesses for which the signs or symptoms first occurred within 30 days following the Issue Date or Commencement Date, whichever is later;
    • Critical illness was diagnosed directly or indirectly due to a congenital defect or disease which has manifested or was diagnosed before age 17;
    • The diagnosis of Fulminant Viral Hepatitis, Cancer, Encephalitis, Bacterial Meningitis, Alzheimer’s Disease / Severe Dementia or Terminal Illness was directly or indirectly due to an Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) or infection by any Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV); or
    • Any critical illness which is caused by a self-inflicted injury.
  5. Any medical condition arising from the occurrence of the following is not covered under PMCM service:
    • Emergency care and or any medical conditions of urgent invasive and/or urgent surgical procedures;
    • Diabetes;
    • Short stature as an isolated condition;
    • Endocrine conditions that affect only fertility;
    • Isolated snoring (without sleep apnea);
    • Cosmetic/Aesthetic surgery;
    • Excluded medical conditions in the pediatric medical field:
      1. Pediatric gastroenterological diseases of the following types:
        1. Failure to thrive; and
        2. Eating disorders (e.g., anorexia, bulimia);
      2. Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD); and
      3. Any Medical Condition pertaining to premature babies during initial hospitalisation after birth or during the first six (6) months of life.
    • Excluded disorders:
      1. ADHD and ADD; and
      2. Anorexia/Bulimia and other related eating disorders
    • Fertility-related conditions or procedures, with the exception of cases of three (3) or more consecutive miscarriages;
    • Obstetrics;
    • Child, youth, and adult psychiatric and/or mental diseases;
    • Conditions related directly or indirectly to issues of looks and aesthetics, including obesity, with the exception of reconstructive breast surgery following a mastectomy;
    • Medical conditions in the fields of dentistry;
    • Fibromyalgia disease;
    • Chronic fatigue syndrome;
    • Complete and irreversible blindness;
    • Acute Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA);
    • Severe burns if patient is hospitalised;
    • Allergies;
    • Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD);
    • Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV);
    • Obesity;
    • Any condition that necessitates urgent medical attention; and
    • Any condition resulting from substance, drug or alcohol addiction.
