Public Bank and Public Islamic Bank are participating financial institutions of the Disaster Relief Facility (DRF) 2022 to alleviate the financial burden of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) affected by the recent flood nationwide and facilitate the resumption of business operations.
Salient features of the DRF 2022:
- Open to SMEs affected by floods located in districts identified by Agensi Pengurusan Bencana Negara (NADMA) as flood disaster areas
- Loan / Financing up to RM700,000 per SME under category of Small or Medium and RM150,000 per SME under category of Micro
- Tenure of up to 7 years, including a moratorium period of 6 month
- Financing rate of 3.5% fixed per annum
