What is the Accounts (Statement) button for?

This feature enables you to perform the following action:

  1. View E-Statement
  2. Register / Deregister E-Statement
  3. Request Paper Statement
  4. Convert to Statement Savings Account
How do I download and print my e-statements in MyPB?

You are required to perform the following steps:

  1. Go to side menu, click “Accounts” to expand the selection.
  2. Click “Summary”.
  3. Select to view your account type and then the account number.
  4. Click on “E-Statement” icon on the right panel.
  5. Click “Next” to confirm the account number.
  6. Click on the hyperlink of the statement month to open your statement.
  7. Select the “Save” button to download the statement or “Print” button to proceed.

Alternatively,

  1. Go to side menu, click “Accounts” to expand the selection.
  2. Click “Statement”.
  3. And then click “View E-Statement”.
  4. Select your preferred account in the dropdown list.
  5. Click on the hyperlink of the statement month to open your statement.
  6. Select the “Save” button to download the statement or “Print” button to proceed.
How many months of e-statement history will I be able to view?

You can view the past 12 months’ records, however, the e-statements are generated on the preset interval based on the account type. You can refer to the table below:

Will I still receive my hardcopy statement after registering for e-statement?

The Bank will cease sending paper-based statements to you upon the generation of your e-statement

Can I still request for hardcopy statement?

To request hardcopy statements for a specific period, you can go to Accounts > Statement > Request Paper Statement. The charges/fees are as below:

  1. For account statements that are within one (1) year, the service charge is RM10.00 per statement request and RM2.00 per page.
  2. For account statements that have passed one (1) year, the service charge is RM25.00 per statement request and RM2.00 per page.
I am unable to register / deregister my accounts for e-statements. What should I do?

If you are an e-statement user without passbook, you are not allowed to deregister e-statement.

Why am I unable to view my accounts on the “Register / Deregister” screen?

Only passbook accounts can register/ deregister for the e-statement function. Account opened as statement account is registered to e-statement function by default and does not allow to deregister e-statement.

Will I be able to view my e-statements if I am a joint account holder?

By adding the accounts to Public Bank’s online banking, the primary and secondary joint account holders will be able to view e-statements via MyPB.
