Settlement
Purchase contracts are due for settlement two market days after the day the order was executed (T+2). The Bank will debit your share trading or share margin financing account under PB Sharelink on T+2 provided there are sufficient funds or cash/margin balance.
Should you fail to maintain sufficient fund and/or margin balance in your share trading or share margin financing account on T+2, the Bank will force-sell the overdue purchase contracts on the next market day i.e. T+3.
You are NOT allowed to sell the overdue contracts on T+3
Yes.
To have sufficient balance to settle the purchase contract, you may easily deposit fund into your PB Sharelink account via various modes i.e. cash/cheque deposit using the Bank’s Cash/Cheque Deposit Machines, Over The Counter in branches nationwide or fund transfer through PBe, PB engage MY Mobile App or MyPB App.
Sale contracts are due for settlement two market days after the day the order was executed (T+2).
For sale contracts, the Bank will credit the proceeds into your share trading or share margin financing account under PB Sharelink on T+2.
Yes. You are allowed to transfer funds from your Savings Account or Current Account maintained with Public Bank/ Public Islamic Bank into your share trading or share margin financing account under PB Sharelink.
You are also allowed to transfer funds from your Savings Account or Current Account maintained with other banks into your share trading or share margin financing account under PB Sharelink.
In order to request for funds to be transferred out from your PB Sharelink into your Savings/ Current Account maintained with Public Bank/ Public Islamic Bank, please refer to the attachment below. Subject to Eligibility Criteria.

Yes, but subjected to Bank’s approval prior to place order through Share Investment Units.
Yes. All contracts transacted via internet/mobile app will be eligible for lower brokerage rate subject to minimum brokerage of RM12.00.
Please take note that only orders that are placed via internet will be eligible for the lower brokerage rate. Orders that are placed via telephone through your designated Share Investment Executives will not be eligible for such lower brokerage rate.
