e-Invoice

What is an e-Invoice?

The Government of Malaysia has introduced the e-Invoice system to make tax reporting easier, faster, and more transparent for everyone.

An e-Invoice is a digital version of a traditional invoice that records transactions — like those between Public Bank Berhad (PBB) and its customers. Each e-Invoice is sent to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) for validation, helping to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax rules in real-time.
