What is Profile Access?

Profile Access determines the features and functionalities that you can access on online and mobile banking. There are two (2) types of profile access which are:

  1. View Only Profile
  2. Standard Profile
What is View Only Profile?

This profile access type limits your access on online banking and mobile banking to only viewing account-related information. You would not be able to perform any financial transactions and make changes to your account settings under this profile access.

What is Standard Profile?

This profile access allows you to access all features and functionalities available on online and mobile banking including performing both financial and non-financial activities.

Which Profile Access is more secure?

"View Only Profile" is a relatively safer option since it does not permit financial transactions.

Can I perform financial transactions with "View Only Profile"?

No, financial transactions are not allowed with "View Only Profile". This profile access  only allows you to view your account details.

Am I required to register for PB SecureSign / Securesign Token and Challenge Questions under "View Only Profile"?

No, you are not required to register for PB SecureSign / Securesign Token and Challenge Question for "View Only Profile" as you have no access to perform financial transaction.

Where can I change my Profile Access?

You can change your profile access through MyPB App & MyPB Online Banking.

Profile > click your “User ID” > Profile Access > click “Change”

Is there a cooling-off period when changing my profile access?

There is no cooling-off period imposed when  changing your Profile Access. However, if you change from "View Only Profile" to "Standard Profile", you are required to activate PB SecureSign and to complete the cooling-off period.

How often can I change my Profile Access?

There is no restriction on the number of times you can change your Profile Access.
